WEST MILFORD, NJ (4/27/2020) - A Brooklyn woman died Wednesday afternoon after being involved in a rollover crash in West Milford. The accident happened around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 23 and Canistear Road.
According to the West Milford Police Department, 36-year-old Rebecca McMahon Adelman was driving her 2019 Chevy Impala on Route 23 when she collided with a 2003 Ford Explorer driven by a 27-year-old woman. The collision caused Adelman’s car to rollover in the intersection.
Emergency services closed down all northbound lanes of Route 23 so they could extricate Adelman from her vehicle, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman driving the Ford Explorer, who has not been identified, was not injured in the crash and isn’t facing any charges at this time.
