Katherine E. Mayo, an Associate at O’Connor, Parsons, Lane & Noble LLC, has devoted her career to advocating for individuals who have suffered profound personal injuries and loss. Her practice focuses primarily on medical malpractice litigation, with particular emphasis on catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters. She also represents plaintiffs in a broad range of complex personal injury cases.
Licensed in both New Jersey and New York, Ms. Mayo trained under some of the nation’s most accomplished plaintiffs’ attorneys and brings substantial experience litigating high-value matters to the firm. Over the course of her career, she has successfully prosecuted cases involving defective products, environmental contamination, exposure to toxins, traumatic brain injuries, construction accidents, sexual assault, and nonconsensual dissemination of intimate images (“revenge porn”), among other serious claims.
Ms. Mayo has earned recognition for achieving meaningful results in complex and sensitive matters. Notably, she secured a landmark combined $3.5 million verdict in a revenge porn action, a result featured on the front page of the New York Law Journal. Ms. Mayo received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Smith College. She also holds a master’s degree in French from University of Wisconsin–Madison.
