Mr. Lane is a plaintiff’s trial attorney focusing on medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, and hospital negligence cases. He is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He began his legal career at a medical malpractice defense firm, experience he now brings to representing seriously injured people and their families.
This is not Mr. Lane’s first Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” distinction. He was previously named the Best Lawyers® 2023 Medical Malpractice Law – Plaintiffs “Lawyer of the Year” in Newark.
Beyond his practice, Mr. Lane served on the Borough of Mountainside Town Council from 2001 through 2016 and coached the Seton Hall Prep mock trial team from 2014 to 2016. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, the American Association for Justice, and the New Jersey State and Union County Bar Associations. He earned his B.S. from Rutgers University and his J.D. from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law.
