How to Get Your Jersey City Accident Report
If the Jersey City Police Department responded to your crash, you can request a copy of your accident report in person or through the mail.

Accident report requests can be made in person at:

M-F between 9 am and 4:30 pm.
The office is closed on city holidays. You will need to provide the record # and details of your accident including names of the involved parties, date, and location of the accident. The report will cost $0.05 cents per page.

Mail a request for your accident report to:

For reports to be returned by mail, include a $5 money order and a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
For reports to be returned by fax, include a $10 money order and your fax number.
