William Lane is the managing partner of O’Connor, Parsons, Lane & Noble, LLC. He is a skilled leading plaintiffs’ personal injury litigator, specializing in plaintiffs’ medical malpractice, wrongful death and hospital negligence cases. Mr. Lane has successfully won numerous million dollar and multimillion dollar verdicts on behalf of his growing list of clients.
Mr. Lane has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. Further, he has received the AV Preeminent Rating, the highest available, by Martindale-Hubbell, the leading information services publication for the legal professional. Mr. Lane is licensed to practice law in both the State of New Jersey and in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Having begun his legal career at a medical malpractice defense firm, he is uniquely qualified to represent plaintiffs’ interests. His invaluable experience had led to quantifiable success representing injured parties and their families in the prosecution of medical malpractice and other personal injury matters.
In addition, Mr. Lane has received numerous honors including the designation of Super Lawyer in New Jersey Monthly Magazine (2008 to the present). He was previously identified as a Rising Star in New Jersey Monthly Magazine from 2006 to 2007 and as one of New Jersey’s 10 Leaders in Civil Trial and Personal Injury Law (age 45 and under). Mr. Lane has consistently served his community, fulfilling his civic responsibility as an active member of the Borough of Mountainside Town Council from 2001 through 2016. Further, in the spirit of giving back, he has lectured at a number of continuing education seminars on various topics including medical malpractice and ethics. He also served as the Attorney Coach for the Seton Hall Prep Mock Trial team from 2014 to 2016, helping to cultivate the next generation of attorneys.
Mr. Lane received his Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University (1990) and a Juris Doctorate degree from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia (1993).
