94-Year-Old Pedestrian Hit by a Truck While Crossing Cliffside Park Street

CLIFFSIDE PARK, NJ (12/18/2019) Rosemary DellaRosa, 94, was hit by a pickup truck on Wednesday while she was crossing Cliffside Park Street.

The accident happened at around 10 a.m. on Anderson Ave. and Lafayette Ave., according to authorities. DellaRosa was immediately taken to Hackensack University Medical Center in critical condition after sustaining severe injuries. 

The driver who hit DellaRosa is an unnamed 67-year-old man who remained at the scene of the accident.

Cliffside Park police and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Fatal Accident Investigations Unit are currently investigating the crash.
