Three Teens Injured in Wrong-Way Crash in Bedminster

Bedminster, NJ (12/07/2019) - Three people suffered critical injuries in a wrong-way crash on Saturday. The collision happened near Route 78 on Rattlesnake Bridge Road. They crashed around 3:47 pm.

Emergency Responders rescued three occupants from the 2002 Toyota Corolla. Paramedics transported all three 18-year-olds to area hospitals with severe injuries. 

Bedminster Town Police, with the aid of the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office, investigated the scene. The investigation showed the vehicle traveled at a high rate of speed northbound in the southbound lanes. The car collided with the bridge abutment.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team.

Unfortunately, they take a lot of time and resources to investigate. Once the cause of the accident is determined, and the person or party at fault is identified, charges can be brought forward.
