Wrong-Way​ Collision in New Jersey

Parsippany, NJ -- Three people are dead after a car driving the wrong way on Route 80 collided with other vehicles. The crash happened around 1:45 am on Friday. 

The crash that involved multiple cars is under investigation. One vehicle likely sustained fire damage. Police confirmed the casualties of two adult women and one adult man on site. 

One victim was 20-year-old Jalen Monet Davis. Her mother spoke about how much Jalen loved people and that she had turned 20 two weeks earlier. Police did not release information about the other two victims.

Police took the driver that caused the accident to the hospital. They are currently investigating if alcohol or drugs were a part of the crash. 

It took over six hours for all lanes to reopen. After the Witnesses said that numerous cars were towed from the scene.
