Rental Box Truck Rollover

Bloomsbury, NJ -- Two people were injured in a rental box rollover crash in Bloomsbury on Monday night.

The New Jersey State Police Perryville Station responded to the truck accident on the Route 78 Westbound exit ramp at 7:16 pm.

The truck was driving on the exit ramp and rolled onto the on-ramp from Route 173 to Route 78, which blocked the on-ramp and on-coming traffic. 

Both the driver and passenger of the box truck sustained minor injuries according to police. They are being treated at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. 

The Bloomsbury Fire Company, Pattenburg Rescue Squad, and State Department of Transportation officials, closed the on-ramp and exit. Both are now re-opened.

The New Jersey State Police Perryville Station are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
