One Dead, One Injured in Deptford Crash

Deptford Township, NJ (10/31/2019) - A crash left one person dead and another severely injured on Route 55 in Deptford Township, Gloucester County. The crash occurred in the northbound lanes around midnight on Thursday.

Police report that the driver lost control, leaving the road and crashing into the wooded median. Police have not said how many cars are involved. Investigators closed a portion of Route 55 to search the scene but it reopened on the same day.

One person died at the scene, EMTs transported the other to Cooper University Hospital. Their current condition is unknown.

Unfortunately, they take a lot of time and resources to investigate. Once the cause of the accident is determined and the person or party at fault is identified charges can be brought forward.
