O’Connor, Parsons, Lane & Noble is pleased to announce our Annual Graduate School Scholarship. This $1,500 scholarship is open to law students attending or planning to attend law school in the United States. Scholarship money will go directly to the winner’s school and can cover school-related expenses.

As an Attorney, How Would You Explain the Difference Between Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury?
You can write an essay discussing the key legal distinctions between medical malpractice and personal injury cases, including the differences in legal elements, procedures, and the types of damages available in each type of case.

Scholarship FAQ’s

Who can apply for the scholarship?  

The scholarship is open to law students who have been attending or accepted to an ABA-accredited law school in the United States as of December 1, 2024.

What is the scholarship amount and deadline?

The scholarship is a one-time award of $1,500. Applications are due no later than August 15, 2025.

How will my application be judged?

Applications will be judged on the ability to write a well-crafted essay exploring the topic in a unique and creative way.

When will the winner be selected and notified?

The winner will be selected and notified no later than August 30, 2025.

Did you receive my application?

Due to a high volume of applications, we are unable to confirm if we receive your scholarship or discuss specific applications.
