Woodbridge, NJ (11/25/2019) - A woman died in a wrong-way collision early Monday morning. The crash happened on the NJ Turnpike near Woodbridge around 1:45 am.
Police report that a Subaru drove north in the southbound lanes and struck the front end of a Honda. The driver of the Honda, Kristen Leary, 29, died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Subaru suffered severe injuries. EMTs transported that driver to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Closures spanned over several hours, but all lanes reopened around 6 am. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
