Fatal Two-Car​ Crash

Montville, NJ -- Two cars collided late Friday night. The crash happened at the intersection of Route 202 and Heritage Court.

Police responded to a call about a collision around 7:30 pm Friday with multiple injuries. After they arrived on the scene, they found that a 2009 Saab and a 2016 Nissan collided.

The rear-seat passenger of the Saab, a 93-year-old woman from Florida, died at the scene. EMTs transported the other two people in the Saab to Morris Town Medical Center.

EMTs transported the two occupants of the Nissan to the same hospital. The passenger in the Nissan, an 83-year-old man from Totowa, died at the hospital. 

The cause of the collision is still under investigation. Once determined, the guilty party will be brought charges.
