PARSIPPANY, NJ — Three people and a dog were injured when a car overturned on Route 80 Monday morning Sept. 16th in Parsippany, said authorities.
Sgt. Lawrence Peele of the New Jersey State Police said three occupants of a Honda Accord sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and were taken to Morristown Medical Center for treatment.
Parsippany police said the township's animal control department responded to the scene to care for the dog, believed to be a bull mastiff. The dog was taken to Animal Referral Emergency Associates in Fairfield. The hospital declined to comment about the dog's condition.
The accident is under investigation, Peele said.
