Patterson, NJ -- A school bus carrying 30 students from Passaic County Technical Institute crashed on Friday afternoon. The crash happened on Route 80 around 3:40 pm.
No injuries were reported in the crash. The cause is still unknown. The students, ages 16-18, were on their way to Bloomfield.
According to reports, pieces of a vehicle were visible on the highway. The bus and the Saturn sedan pulled over to the side of the road near Exit 57. The exit ramp to Route 19 closed at 4:30 pm after another severe accident earlier that day.
