Crash in Rainy Conditions

West Windsor, NJ — Seven people were injured in a serious accident in rainy weather Friday night, September 6th. Police say that two children were among those injured in the crash.

According to authorities, the crash occurred when a Chevy Impala collided head-on with a Honda Odyssey in wet road conditions on Cranbury Road in West Windsor. A 68-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with a critical head injury, while another woman, aged 36, was hospitalized for serious leg injuries.

The Honda had several other passengers, including two boys ages 4 and 8, both of whom suffered cuts to their face. They were transported to Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the Odyssey, a 40-year-old man, was taken to the hospital for treatment of a wrist injury. Finally, a 70-year-old passenger in the Odyssey was taken to the hospital for treatment for chest pain.

The driver of the Chevy, a 45-year-old woman, suffered neck and back pain but declined treatment according to police. Fortunately, no one was killed in the accident.
